プログラマを経て、セキュリティ専門家として大手Webサービス企業でセキュリティ向上に寄与。各組織でCSIRTチームの構築や、M&A時のデューデリジェンスを含む各種アセスメント、セキュリティ施策の設計・運用など、セキュリティ分野において20年以上の経験を持つ。2016年に起業し、多くの海外のセキュリティ企業や専門家とのパートナーシップを深め、サイバーインテリジェンスの普及啓発に務める。毎年開催されるJapan Cyber Intelligence Summit主催。また官公庁などやセキュリティカンファレンスでの講演多数。After beginning his career as a programmer, he contributed to security improvements at a major web services company as a security specialist. With over 20 years of experience in the security field—including building CSIRT teams, conducting assessments such as M&A due diligence, and designing and operating security measures across organizations—he founded his own company in 2016. Since then, he has deepened partnerships with many overseas security companies and experts and worked to promote and raise awareness of cyber intelligence. He hosts the annual Japan Cyber Intelligence Summit and speaks frequently at government agencies and security conferences.

銀行のIT子会社、大手SIerなど金融IT分野で30年以上の経験を持ち、現在はみずほフィナンシャルグループのグループCISOとしてグループのサイバーセキュリティ態勢と能力の強化を継続的に推進。日本の金融機関のサイバー防御強化に取り組む金融ISACの理事も務める。金融庁主催の「預金取扱金融機関の耐量子計算機暗号への対応に関する検討会」や、「AI脅威に対する金融分野のサイバーセキュリティ対策強化に関する官民連携会議」の作業部会の座長を務めるなど、金融当局とも連携し金融業界全体のサイバーセキュリティ態勢強化に貢献。With over 30 years of experience in the financial IT field, including at a bank’s IT subsidiary and a major systems integrator, he currently serves as Group CISO of Mizuho Financial Group, continuously strengthening the group’s cybersecurity posture and capabilities. He also serves as a director of Financials ISAC Japan, which works to strengthen the cyber defenses of Japanese financial institutions. He has chaired working groups for the Financial Services Agency’s study group on post-quantum cryptography for deposit-taking financial institutions and its public–private council on strengthening cybersecurity against AI threats in the financial sector, contributing to the cybersecurity posture of the entire financial industry in close coordination with financial authorities.

インターネットセキュリティ専門会社でのセキュリティプロダクトの研究開発を経て、2002年に楽天株式会社(現 楽天グループ株式会社)に入社。サイバーセキュリティ専門組織を創設し、2007年にはRakuten-CERTの立ち上げを主導した。さらにグローバルなセキュリティ組織の設立にも尽力。長年にわたり楽天グループにおける安全なソフトウェア開発の推進とセキュリティ運用を牽引している。活動開始時よりOWASP Japan Advisory Boardを務める。After researching and developing security products at an internet security firm, he joined Rakuten, Inc. (now Rakuten Group, Inc.) in 2002. He founded the company’s dedicated cybersecurity organization and led the launch of Rakuten-CERT in 2007, and also contributed to establishing a global security organization. For many years, he has led the promotion of secure software development and security operations across the Rakuten Group. He has served on the OWASP Japan Advisory Board since its inception.
